Sponsor an Expedition

If you've reached this far on our site, you understand that our work is important.

The science is important because the more we all understand nature the more we appreciate the wilderness we still have, and the stronger our collective will to preserve it. Alaska is one of the most wild and most beautiful places left on Earth. But it is vulnerable.

The more the crew of the Endeavour and its guests can share our expeditions in Alaska -- through our writing and our photography -- the stronger the collective will to preserve this wilderness and its history and cultures.

Our expeditions are also adventures.  Real adventures.  They always have a goal, but they are unpredictable.  They're sometimes dangerous. They're worth following.

You can be part of these expeditions and our education efforts in a very real way as a sponsor for any amount.  Some of the expedition costs are obvious, like fuel and food, but there is also a lot of preparation, maintenance, follow-up, and publication work, too.  The scientists contribute, and the monthly membership dues help a lot, but it takes more.

As a sponsor, you can help underwrite a specific expedition.  When making a contribution, let us know which upcoming expedition (from the Expeditions page on this site) most interests you, or just say "the next one."

As an expedition sponsor, you'll receive the member benefits, but you'll also be invited to

  • join a chatroom for that expedition with the scientists and the Endeavour crew, and

  • join a live online wrap-up with the scientists and crew after the expedition.

All sponsorships are tax-deductible.
